Wave Farm Radio 1.08

The Wave Farm Radio app enables users to listen to live audio from Wave Farm, which includes WGXC 90.7-FM, Standing Wave Radio, and partner streams. Users have the ability to create personalized playlists from a vast collection of archived audio files. Wave Farm transmit partners and WGXC broadcast partners also have the option to stream their own audio feeds.

LIVE section: Listeners can tune in to enjoy real-time broadcasts from WGXC 90.7-FM, Standing Wave Radio, Quintron's "Weather Warlock," Zach Poff's "Pond Station," and the All Together Now! local news feed at any time. Live feeds from Wave Farm transmit and WGXC broadcast partners are also accessible.

ARCHIVE section: The platform offers a selection of artists, radio shows, and audio files for browsing. Users can curate their own playlists from the vast archives of Wave Farm Radio for a personalized listening experience. Please note that in version 1.0, listening is exclusively available through streaming; no download feature for offline listening is currently provided.

TRANSMIT section: Wave Farm transmit and WGXC broadcast partners can broadcast their live audio streams for app users, as well as for website visitors at wavefarm.org/listen and wgxc.org/listen.

On the home screen, users can tailor their app experience by selecting one of the following three categories:

• "All Access" = Grants access to all live streams and audio files from the complete Wave Farm Radio archive, including the Transmission Arts Archive and WGXC.
• "Transmission Arts" = Showcases artists and audio solely from the Wave Farm Transmission Art Archive.
• "WGXC 90.7-FM" = Offers radio shows and audio archives specifically from radio station WGXC in New York's Upper Hudson Valley.

Wave Farm is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to experimenting with broadcast media and the airwaves. Its programs—Transmission Arts, WGXC-FM, and Media Arts Grants—aim to provide access to transmission technologies while supporting artists and entities engaged in media as an art form.
